S&OP Manager
The S&OP Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure high-quality standards and effective decision-making throughout the organization. This role is crucial in driving data-driven decisions, collaborating with global and local planners, and presenting insights to executive leadership. The S&OP Lead will play a key role in enhancing the company's supply chain efficiency and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
The main activities and responsibilities
S&OP Process Management:
- Lead and manage the S&OP process, ensuring global quality and that the S&OP process contributes to overall business success.
- Facilitate decision-making up to the executive level and prepare Executive S&OP meetings, presenting ExCom-ready proposals supported by relevant financial data.
- Collaborate with global demand planners and local supply planners to drive decisions through all layers of planning
- Ensure alignment across functions such as marketing, finance, and operations; drive S&OE, in close collaboration with Customer Service
- Maintain working capital targets, specifically stock levels.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Support global process simplification for Supply Chain
- •Monitor key performance indicators like On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries, inventory levels, supply chain reliability, and forecast stability.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand and/or supply planning.
- Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certification in supply chain management is a plus.
- Strong understanding of planning and S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical skills & drive data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in creating board-level PPTs and analyses.
- Ability to work independently without requiring a team to function effectively.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.
- Strategic mindset & results oriented.
- Continuous improvement drive.
