Jorge holds a PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Master’s degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Seville in Spain, as well as Master’s degree in Project Management and Six Sigma Black Belt and White Belt Certifications in lean process development.
Having joined Centrient in November 2022, he brings over twenty years of experience in biotechnology - fermentation, enzyme development and sustainability - working at universities, research institutes and commercial companies.
Prior to his current role, Jorge worked with PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch InBev and Abengoa. Most recently, he was VP of Global Research & Development at Corbion.
