The business Unit FDF has a vacancy in its Rijswijk offices, for the following position:

Internship: Value chain analyst for existing and pipeline products

Join our diverse international team as a value chain analyst and support us in creating valuable market insights in how to position our products in a changing value chain and support our pipeline development in providing valuable insights in different stages of the product life cycle in for example defining target customers/market/applications and route to market.

You will be supported by business and commercial professionals and where needed get connected with different internal and external stakeholders. By the end of assignment, you will be able to put your knowledge & skills into practice, learn how to collect market insights in a B2B environment & last but not least understand how impactful good analysis & good communication can be.

The main activities and responsibilities:

  • Map the value chain for some of our key products and key markets where Centrient is present in.
  • Advise Centrient business and commercial team on:
    • Target segments
    • Route to market
  • Develop a systematic approach to be able to roll this out to other products and markets
    • Existing products
    • New Products
  • Support in further developing an understanding of key trends and dynamics in the value chain of some of the key markets where we are present (such as reimbursement policies, tender requirements, etc).

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
  • Data analytics experience/skills.
  • Strong communication skills; excellent English verbal and written skills.
  • Keen eye for detail, dynamic, structured, proactive and independent working attitude.
  • MS Office, especially Presentation, excel skills.

Terms and reward

  • The internship entails a 3-month contract.
  • For Master's students, the internship fee is EUR 500 gross per month. For Bachelor's students, it is EUR 350 gross per month.
  • During the summer months, the internship location will relocate to Rotterdam.
  • We strive for the earliest possible start date for the internship.
