The Technology & Sustainability department has a vacancy in its team in the manufacturing site in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda for the following position:

Technology & Sustainability Technician

The Position

As a T&S Technician (m/f/d) you will be part of the T&S department reporting directly to the T&S Manager. You will contribute to the improvement of production processes through the execution of laboratory tests in accordance with the feasibility studies and projects, previously agreed with the T&S Manager, respecting all legal and corporate requirements.

The main activities and responsibilities

• Take part of “Task Force” meeting and provide technical support to production.
• Collaborate in the organization of T&S department meetings and keep T&S Manager informed about the activities.
• Propose, develop and evaluate Use Test, Problem solving tests, feasibility test, reprocessing test and other test relating to development stages.
• Propose and collaborate in the implementation and startup of projects related improvements.
• Write Pilot Reports.
• Lead problem solving tasks (out of the boxing)
• Lead/ participate in Job Safety Analysis.
• Participate in the HAZOP process.
• Participate un audits.
• Participate in local and global improvement meetings.
• Participate in sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• Required Education Level in: Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position (fine chemicals or pharmaceutical companies)
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
