The position

The incumbent is responsible for grooming of the Franchise new businesses. Development and Execution of the Franchise New business Strategy, gathering Business intelligence about competitors move, potential areas of attack, Planning and execution of developing new businesses, Budgeting and review commercial performance, both short and long term. Drive performance and ensuring profitable execution in line with the Franchise Strategies and with the guidance of the Chief Commercial Officer.

Key Individual Accountabilities

•Lead the Business intelligence part of the SCN franchise

•Develop, review and implement Franchise New business Strategy

•Deliver GM at standard for the Franchise new business (New customers, existing customer new products) with a clear focus on Statins and SSC.

•Act as a deputy of the Franchise director in his absence

•Support the new business part in the development of multiyear Key Account plans in alignment with the regions and with other Franchise Directors if applicable.

•Align on product development, with Global Technical product management, planning, production, delivery and after-sales.

•Support the Franchise Budget, RAF and forecasting cycle

•New Market Development •Drive and enable the optimal Centrient GM performance with the Franchise team

•Assure Commercial execution with the regions

•Foster & build a culture that is suited for the organization needs and performance

•Develop or acquire needed capabilities to ensure further business growth

•Demand and Supply Plans


  • Bachelor degree and/or above, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years commercial experience in an international business-to-business environment, preferably in the Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Good Pharmaceutical background and good knowledge on Anti-infectives
  • Knowledge of project management practices
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Good understanding of Company's Business Strategy and entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Good data analysis skill with strong business sense
